Ciplar 10 (Propranolol Hydrochloride) tablet is a beta-blocker medicine that is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension, angina, and hypertrophic subaortic stenosis. It is also used to prevent migraine headaches. In some cases, it is also used alone or in combination with other medications to treat heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia). This medicine attaches to the heart and blocks certain molecules that trigger receptors. These receptors are responsible for inducing heartbeat, so blocking them slows the heartbeat and lowers blood pressure.
